The World Wide Web (also known as &#8220;the Web&#8221;), the document system (or web pages) interconnected by hypertext links, available on the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>2. WorldWideWeb, the first web browser, later renamed Nexus.<\/p>\n<p>3. A web page, document or information source, usually in HTML format and which may contain hyperlinks to other web pages. This website may be accessible from a physical device, an intranet, or the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>4. A website, a set of web pages, typically common to a domain or subdomain on the World Wide Web.<\/p>\n<p>5. A web server, a program that implements the HTTP protocol to transfer what we call hypertexts, web pages, or HTML pages. This name is also given to the computer running this program.<\/p>\n<p>6. The Web 2.0, a term coined by Tim O&#8217;reilly2 in 2004 to refer to a second generation of the Web based on user communities and a special range of web services, such as social networks, blogs, wikis or folcsonomies, which encourage collaboration and the agile exchange of information among users.<\/p>\n<p>7. The Web 3.0, a term first published in 2006 in an article by Jeffrey Zeldman, a web 2.0 critic and associated with technologies such as AJAX.
